WordPress Developer Intern

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented WordPress Developer Intern to support ongoing website optimization and content deployment projects within our web infrastructure portfolio.

About the Role

This internship is focused on content population, UI consistency, and front-end refinements across corporate and client websites managed by CloudMatrix Technologies.

This is NOT a theme development role.

Our architecture is already built using advanced tools. We need a reliable and detail-driven intern to:

  • Upload structured content properly
  • Ensure pixel-perfect UI consistency
  • Resolve minor visual inconsistencies
  • Maintain performance standards

 

You will work directly with the Lead Developer to ensure design accuracy and frontend excellence based on Figma specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Structured Content Management
  • Upload and format structured content into Custom Post Types
  • Populate Meta Fields using ACF or JetEngine
  • Ensure correct taxonomy and relationship mapping
  1. UI Consistency & Visual QA
  • Match live pages precisely with Figma designs
  • Adjust font sizes, padding, margins, alignment, and spacing
  • Maintain global style consistency across the site
  1. Image Optimization & Media Management
  • Resize and crop images to required aspect ratios (1:1, 16:9, etc.)
  • Compress images for performance optimization
  • Ensure images are not distorted or stretched
  1. CSS & Responsive Fixes
  • Write custom CSS to resolve layout or styling issues
  • Improve hover states and minor animation behaviors
  • Fix mobile responsiveness inconsistencies
  1. Blog & Content Publishing
  • Create and update blog posts using Gutenberg
  • Maintain clean layout using proper block structure
  • Ensure SEO-friendly formatting and readability

Skills/Experience

  • Basic understanding of WordPress Dashboard (Post Types, Taxonomies, Media Library)
  • Proficiency in Elementor (Containers, responsive settings, global styles)
  • Familiarity with JetEngine or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable writing custom CSS
  • Ability to replicate Figma designs with high accuracy
  • Exceptional attention to detail (no broken layouts, no spacing errors, no stretched images)
